NB/T 42030-2014 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for circulating fluidized bed boilers fired directly on biomass.

It gives the terms and definitions, the general rules, the technical requirements and the inspection and testing, and then painting, packaging, marking and the accompanying documents, as well as installation and use, acceptance and the responsibilities for quality.

It is written for boilers using water as the working fluid and burning solid biomass alone, with a rated evaporation of 35 t/h to 220 t/h or a rated thermal power of 29 MW to 168 MW; units of other ratings may follow it as a reference.

Classified J98 and ICS 27.060.30, it quotes GB 13223, GB/T 10184, NB/T 47034 and TSG G0001. Issued on 18 March 2014, it has applied since 1 August 2014.
