Scope
NB/T 34006-2020 is the English-translated version of 清洁采暖炉具技术条件.
NB/T 34006-2020 is the Chinese energy industry specification for clean heating stoves: water-jacketed stoves under 50 kW burning clean coal such as briquettes, anthracite, washed bituminous coal and blue charcoal, or densified biomass fuel, with outlet water up to 85 °C. It classifies and codes stoves by fuel, manual or automatic control and heating-only or cooking-and-heating function, and states fuel requirements referring to GB 34169, GB 34170 and NB/T 34024.
Technical requirements cover explosion-proof devices, controllers, castings, welds, water jacket wall thickness, thermal efficiency, cooking power and air pollutant emission grades, followed by test methods, inspection rules, marking, warning signs and service life.
It replaces NB/T 34006-2011 and NB/T 34007-2012, was issued on 23 October 2020 and has applied since 1 February 2021.

This document replaces NB/T 34006-2011 "General technical requirements for civil biomass solid briquettes heating stoves" and NB/T 34007 -2012 "General Technical Requirements for Biomass Cooking and Heating Stoves". This document is based on NB/T 34006-2011 and integrates NB/T 34007 -Part of the content of 2012, compared with NB/T 34006-2011, except for structural adjustments and editorial changes, the main technical changes are as follows.
a) The name of the standard was changed to. technical conditions for clean heating stoves;
b) Modified the scope (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of the 2011 edition);
c) The terms and definitions of clean coal, biomass briquettes, cooking power, high power and low power have been added (see Chapter 3);
d) The classification and coding of heating stoves have been added, and the model representation method has been modified (see Chapter 4, Chapter 4 of the 2011 edition);
e) Increased the fuel requirements for heating stoves (see Chapter 5);
f) The requirements for cooking power of heating stoves with cooking functions have been added (see 6.3.2);
g) Modified and increased the thermal efficiency and air pollutant emission indicators and classifications of heating appliances (see 6.3, 5.15, 5.16 of the 2011 edition);
h) Modified the inspection rules (see Chapter 8, Chapter 7 of the 2011 edition).
1 Scope
This document specifies the terms and definitions, classification and coding, fuel requirements, and technical requirements for clean heating stoves (hereinafter referred to as stoves).
Test methods, inspection rules, signs, packaging, warning signs, storage and service life, etc.
This document is applicable to the burning of clean coal, biomass briquettes (including lump fuelwood), water as the heat transfer medium, and the rated heat supply is less than 50kW.
Heating stoves with working pressure at normal pressure and outlet water temperature not higher than 85°C and heating stoves with cooking functions. Stoves with chimneys and kangs are also available Reference use.
2 Normative references
The contents of the following documents constitute the indispensable clauses of this document through normative references in the text. Among them, dated reference documents, Only the version corresponding to that date is applicable to this document; for undated references, the latest version (including all amendments) is applicable to this document file.

3 Terms and definitions
The following terms and definitions defined by NB/T 34059 apply to this document.
3.1 Clean heating stoves
Burning clean coal and biomass briquette fuels that meet the heating thermal efficiency and air pollutant emission level 2 indicators or more specified in this document Heating stove.
3.2 Rated heat power
The continuous and stable output of heat per unit time when the stove supplies heat under rated conditions.
3.3 Thermal efficiency
The percentage of the effective use of heat output by the stove to the heat input of the fuel.
3.4 Cooking power
A heating stove with a cooking function, the effective heat absorbed by the pot water per unit time, is also called the cooking fire intensity.
3.5 High-power
The stove runs under rated conditions, also known as fire.
3.6 Low-power
The heat output of the stove is the combustion condition when the rated heat supply is 30% to 40%, also called small fire.
3.7 Clean coal
Products that can reduce pollution emissions and improve utilization efficiency after coal is washed or processed. The clean coal in this document refers to briquette, anthracite, Wash bituminous coal and blue charcoal.
