NB/T 34024-2015 is the English-translated version of 生物质成型燃料质量分级.

Densified biomass fuel is graded by NB/T 34024-2015, a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry. It gives the classification of these fuels, their specifications, the grading indicators used to separate the grades and the test methods behind those indicators.

It applies to densified biofuel produced from agricultural, forestry and other biomass raw materials, and it does not apply to fuel made from chemically treated wood products.

Its indicators and methods rely on GB/T 28732, GB/T 30727, GB/T 30728, GB/T 30729, NB/T 34025, NY/T 1879, NY/T 1880, NY/T 1915 and the parts of NY/T 1881. Issued on 27 October 2015, it has applied since 1 March 2016.
