Repair welding of turbine rotors is the subject of NB/T 25028-2014, a recommended standard of the Chinese energy industry. It states the principles and requirements for the welding repair technique used on rotor defects in operating nuclear power plants, and for the quality acceptance of that repair.
Its field of use is the repair of an in-service turbine rotor by welding. Classified F49 with ICS 27.120, it was issued by the National Energy Administration. The non-destructive testing series JB/T 4730.1 to JB/T 4730.10 is quoted in it, along with GB/T 17394, DL/T 1117, DL/T 1118, JB/T 3223 and NB/T 25023. Issued on 18 March 2014, it has applied since 1 August 2014.
