Scope

NB/T 25005-2011 is the English-translated version of 核电厂汽轮机气缸焊接修复技术规程.

NB/T 25005-2011 is the Chinese energy industry standard that governs the welding repair of steam turbine cylinders in nuclear power plants.

It gives the technical conditions, the process route, the basic quality inspection requirements and the acceptance criteria for repairing steel cylinders by shielded metal arc welding, tungsten inert gas welding and comparable methods.

It applies to repair welding carried out on site on the high pressure, intermediate pressure and low pressure steel cylinders of a plant turbine. Consumables and examination follow GB/T 983, GB/T 5117, GB/T 5118, GB/T 8110 and GB/T 9443, with DL/T 1025-2006, DL/T 1117-2009, DL/T 1118-2009 and JB/T 3223 also cited. Issued on 28 July 2011, it has applied since 1 November 2011.
