1 Scope
This standard specifies the nuclear power plant conventional island (PWR) turbine equipment warranty value, regulation, operation and maintenance, parts and other requirements.

3 Terms and definitions
GB/T 5578-2007 defined and the following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Nuclear Power Turbine
Using the steam generated at the nuclear island as a working fluid, the energy of the steam is converted into a rotary power machine that is a mechanical power.
3.2 The maximum calculation speed
It is assumed that the speed may occur when the governor fails and the maximum speed is limited only by the overspeed trip device.
