Scope
NB/T 20182-2012 is the English-translated version of 核电厂事故工况气载放射性物质释放辐射环境影响评价技术规范.
NB/T 20182-2012 is a recommended Chinese energy industry standard on assessing the radiological impact on the environment of airborne radioactive material released from a nuclear power plant under accident conditions.
It states the contents, the methods and the requirements of that assessment, both for the design basis accident and for the hypothetical accident used in siting work.
It is applied at the site selection, construction and operation stages of a nuclear power plant, whenever the radiation impact on the environment has to be evaluated.
