Scope
NB/T 20181-2012 is the English-translated version of 核电厂运行状态下气载放射性流出物辐射环境影响评价技术规范.
Airborne radioactive effluents discharged by a nuclear power plant in its operational states are covered by NB/T 20181-2012, a recommended Chinese energy industry standard.
It sets out the contents, the methods and the requirements for assessing the radiological environmental impact of those gaseous discharges. The assessment it describes is carried out at each stage of a plant's life, from site selection through construction to operation.
The standard belongs to the Chinese classification F74 and to the international classification 13.280, and it is applied with GB 6249-2011, GB 18871-2002 and the regulatory guide HAD 101/02. Issued on 19 October 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
