NB/T 20039.6-2013 is the English-translated version of 核空气和气体处理规范 通风、空调与空气净化 第6部分：除雾器.
NB/T 20039.6-2013 is the recommended Chinese energy industry standard for moisture separators, also called demisters, used in nuclear air and gas treatment.
As Part 6 of the NB/T 20039 series on ventilation, air conditioning and air cleaning, it states the performance, the design and the manufacturing requirements for separators handling air or gas in nuclear safety systems, and adds the acceptance testing and the quality assurance they have to satisfy.
It is written for units installed in air purification systems. The text draws on GB/T 531.1, GB/T 1220, GB/T 3280, GB/T 6669, HG/T 21618 and NB/T 20038-2011. Issued on 8 June 2013, it has applied since 1 October 2013.
