Scope
NB/T 10748-2021 is the English-translated version of 煤矿环境隐患排查与风险预控管理规程.
NB/T 10748-2021 is a code of practice for finding environmental hidden dangers in coal mines and managing environmental risk before incidents occur.
It describes the overall management process, the planning of hidden danger investigations and who carries them out, the objects and content to be checked, with a normative annex listing them, and the list of identified hazards.
Risks are then graded as very large, significant or general, each with its own control approach, and the whole process is reviewed through a retrospective evaluation.
Informative annexes give a template for basic mine data and a production flow chart marking each pollution source. It applies to production and auxiliary facilities of underground and open pit coal mines, and other solid mineral mines may follow it. Issued on 16 November 2021, it has applied since 16 February 2022.

1 Scope
This document specifies the general requirements, management process, planning and planning of environmental hidden dangers screening and risk pre-control management in coal mines Inspection implementation, risk assessment, risk control methods, hidden danger inspection and retrospective evaluation of risk pre-control management, etc.

3 Terms and Definitions
The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1 Coal mine environmental hidden danger
In the process of coal mine production, due to inadequate management and control procedures and measures, improper personnel operation, abnormal equipment operation and environmental impact, etc.
Various hidden dangers that can cause (or lead to) environmental violations.
3.2 Environmental hidden danger investigation and risk pre-control management
