The following terms and definitions apply to this document.
3.1.1 Stop slope pitslope
The total area consisting of stepped flats and stepped slopes in the open pit.
3.1.2 Dump slope
A landfill slope formed by manual disposal.
3.1.3 Work to help workingslope
A side help consisting of the steps being mined.
3.1.4 Non-working help
A side gang consisting of steps that have ended mining.
3.1.5 To the boundary slope finalhighwal
An open pit mine work or non-work gang or a part of the slope that reaches the final state.
3.1.6 Slope stability evaluation
Based on the qualitative analysis, quantitative calculation is used as a means to check and evaluate the slope stability.
