GB/T 45752-2025 is the Chinese national standard covering the fire extinguishing system carried on a mining off-road vehicle — the hazard list and the safety requirements and measures determined against it, the automatic alarm unit and its control panel, the wet and dry agent types and the automatic or manual release, the warning signs, marking and user manual, the scrapping and disposal, and the simulated start-up and release tests in the appendices. It is written as a risk assessment, hazard by hazard, rather than as a product specification. First edition, under the China Machinery Industry Federation. In force from 1 December 2025. 1 Scope

This document specifies the hazard list, safety requirements and/or safety measures determination, usage information, scrapping and deal with.

This document applies to on-board fire extinguishing systems used on mining off-road vehicles.

Note. This document sets restrictions on mine vehicle fire extinguishing systems in terms of physical performance and intended use. The requirements set forth are applicable to mine vehicle fire extinguishing systems.

3 Terms and definitions

The terms and definitions defined in GB/T 15706, GB 50116, GB 50347, GB 50370 and the following apply to this document.

3.1

Installed on non-road mining vehicles, it consists of a fire extinguishing unit, or a fire automatic alarm unit and a fire extinguishing unit.

A fire suppression system that suppresses an incipient fire that occurs within the designated protection area for non-road vehicles used in mining.

Note 1.Vehicle-mounted fire extinguishing systems are divided into vehicle-mounted wet fire extinguishing systems and vehicle-mounted dry fire extinguishing systems according to the type of fire extinguishing agent filled.

Note 2.The vehicle-mounted fire extinguishing system is divided into the vehicle-mounted automatic release fire extinguishing system and the vehicle-mounted manual release fire extinguishing system according to the activation method.

3.2

Installed on non-road mining vehicles, it consists of two parts. an automatic fire alarm unit and a fire extinguishing unit.

The automatic alarm unit automatically activates the on-board fire extinguishing system of the fire extinguishing unit.

An on-board fire extinguishing system installed on non-road mining vehicles that only contains a fire extinguishing unit and needs to be manually activated.
