Scope

NB/T 10742-2021 is the English-translated version of 智能化综采工作面设计规范.

NB/T 10742-2021 is the Chinese energy industry standard for designing intelligent fully mechanized longwall mining faces in coal mines.

It sets the basic design requirements and then works through the layout of the face and its gate roadways, the selection of shearers, hydraulic supports, scraper conveyors and related equipment, the design of the control system, and the supporting production systems such as power supply, communications, ventilation and auxiliary transport.

The referenced documents show the scope in practice: hydraulic support and control valve standards, drum shearer conditions, advance support and dust suppression systems, flameproof mobile substations and the national coal mine design codes.
