Foreword

This document complies with the provisions of GB/T 1.1-2020 "Standardization Work Guidelines Part 1: Structure and Drafting Rules of Standardization Documents".

Drafting.

This document supersedes LY/T 1104-2011 "Rotor Dryer" and LY/T 2161-2013 "Tunnel Type Wood Shavings Drying System".

Compared with LY/T 1104-2011 and LY/T 2161-2013, the main technical changes are as follows, apart from structural adjustments and editorial modifications.

a) The scope has been changed (see Chapter 1, Chapter 1 of LY/T 2161-2013 and LY/T 1104-2011).

b) The simplified diagram has been modified (see Chapter 3, LY/T 2161-2013 and LY/T 1104-2011).

c) Added terminology (see Chapter 4);

d) The range of main parameters has been increased (see Chapter 5);

e) The general requirements have been changed, and corresponding test methods have been added (see 6.1, LY/T 2161-2013 and LY/T 1104-2011).

f) The technical requirements for major components have been changed, and corresponding inspection methods have been added (see 6.2, LY/T 2161-2013 and LY/T 1104-).

j) The no-load test has been modified, and corresponding inspection methods have been added (see 6.6, 5.6 of LY/T 2161-2013 and LY/T 1104-2011).

k) The load test has been modified and the corresponding test method has been added (see 6.7, 5.7 of LY/T 2161-2013 and LY/T 1104-2011).

1 Scope

This document specifies the main parameters, requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, and storage of wood shavings dryers.

This document applies to particle dryers used in particleboard production lines.
