JB/T 9891-2013 was issued by MIIT on 25 April 2013 and has been in force since 1 September 2013.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9891-1999.
2 Scope
Multiple spindle head units for modular machine tools are the subject of JB/T 9891-2013, a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. It sets out what is required in the manufacture and the inspection of these units. Its field of application is the multiple spindle heads of modular machine tools, tapping heads included. It replaces JB/T 9891-1999, issued under the older name of combined machine tool multi-spindle heads.
