It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9892.1-1999.

2 Scope

JB/T 9892.1-2013 covers the accuracy testing of the power head of modular machine tools and is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry. Part 1 lays down the geometric accuracy requirements for the power head and the methods by which they are tested. Power heads used on modular machine tools and on automatic lines are within its scope. The 1999 edition of the same part, listed as the accuracy inspection of the combined machine tool power case, is superseded by it. It quotes GB/T 17421.1-1998, and its classifications are J58 in China and 25.080.99 internationally.
