JB/T 9746.1-2011 was issued by MIIT on 15 August 2011 and has been in force since 1 November 2011.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9746.1-1999.
It is one of 3 parts of the JB/T 9746 series.
2 Scope
This standard is the first part of a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on marine gearboxes, and it carries the specifications. For marine gearboxes and their variants it gives the terms and definitions, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules, marking, packaging, storage and transport.
