JB/T 9535-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9535-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry that sets the environmental technical requirements for corrosion-resistant electrical products used indoors and outdoors. It covers the types of protection given to such products and the environmental conditions of use, and it states the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with marking, packaging, transport, storage and supply. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 2423.1-2008, GB/T 2423.16-2008, GB/T 2423.24-2013, GB 4208-2008, JB/T 4159-2013 and JB/T 4375-2013. It replaces JB/T 9535-1999.
