Scope
GB/T 35629-2017 is the English-translated version of 室内外多模式协同定位服务接口.
GB/T 35629-2017 fixes the service interface for indoor and outdoor multi-mode cooperative positioning.
Clause 1 states that the standard defines the basic service elements of indoor and outdoor multi-mode cooperative positioning and provides the indoor and outdoor positioning service interface, and that it applies to indoor and outdoor positioning service applications.
The document is built in six clauses, Scope, Normative references, Terms and definitions, symbols, abbreviations and UML notation, the basic service elements, with subclauses on the coordinate reference system, positioning quality information, the positioning technology type, location data, metadata and the abnormal service, and the positioning service interface, with subclauses on the interface itself and on the GetCapabilities, InitPositioningClient, SetPositioningOption, OpenPositioningSession and ClosePositioningSession operations, which respectively obtain the service metadata, initialise the positioning service, set its parameters and open and close a positioning session, plus a worked example of the data the interface returns.
Four normative appendices give the positioning service technology type code table, the exception code table returned by the interface, the description table of the returned fields and the XML Schema of the interface data structures, an informative appendix repeats the example of returned data, and a list of references closes the document.
Clause 3 defines positioning, the positioning service, the positioning mode, the positioning system, taken from GB/T 28589-2012, the indoor positioning system, as the system that identifies the location of people and objects inside buildings from radio waves, magnetic fields, acoustic waves or other mobile device sensor information, and cooperative positioning, as the use of different positioning modes together to achieve a seamless indoor and outdoor positioning service.
Clause 2 cites GB/T 16831-2013 on the standard representation of geographical point locations, GB/T 28584-2012 on the construction of city coordinate systems, GB/T 30170-2013 on spatial referencing and GB/T 30288-2013 on satellite navigation and positioning systems, together with a date and time representation standard and a name and address coding standard for digital city geographic information platforms whose numbers the draft does not print.
The foreword names the National Geographic Information Standardization Technical Committee (SAC/TC230) as the body in charge. It was issued on 29 December 2017 and has applied since 1 July 2018.
