1 Foreword
JB/T 9537-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9537-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard setting the environmental technical requirements for indoor and outdoor corrosion-resistant and explosion-protected induction motors of frame sizes 45 to 710. It names the protection types of such motors, the environmental conditions they have to withstand, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking.
