JB/T 9012-2011 was issued by MIIT on 15 August 2011 and has been in force since 1 November 2011.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 9012-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for side-loading trucks. It fixes the basic parameters of the side forklift truck, the requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the marking, packaging, transport and storage. It applies to side forklift trucks of rated capacity not more than 10 000 kg. It replaces JB/T 9012-1999 and was issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology. Among the standards it quotes are GB 4785, GB/T 5143, GB 10827 and JB/T 3300-2010, along with ISO 13563-1, ISO 13563-2 and ISO 24135-1.
