1 Foreword

JB/T 7599.6-2013 was issued by MIIT on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7599.6-1994.

It is one of 21 parts of the JB/T 7599 series.

2 Scope

This standard is part 6 of the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on insulating enamels for enamelled winding wires, and it is about class 180 polyesterimide enamel. It lays down the technical requirements for the enamel and the inspection rules, and covers its packaging, labelling, storage and transport. The enamel in question is based on polyesterimide resin, dissolved and thinned with a suitable solvent, for a class 180 rating. Among the standards it quotes are the parts of GB/T 4074, GB/T 6109.5, GB/T 7095.4, GB/T 23312.5 and JB/T 7599.1-2013. It replaces JB/T 7599.6-1994. Its Chinese classification is K12 and its international classification 29.060.01.
