JB/T 7445.2-2012 was issued by MIIT on 24 May 2012 and has been in force since 1 November 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7445.2-1998.
It is one of 4 parts of the JB/T 7445 series.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry dealing with type designations for non-traditional machine tools, the second part of the JB/T 7445 series. It fixes the naming of these machines and the way their model designations are composed and written, so that a designation can be built up and read back consistently. Its field of use is given as machine tools of all kinds. It quotes the eight parts of GB/T 14896, from GB/T 14896.1 through GB/T 14896.8. It replaces JB/T 7445.2-1998.
