1 Foreword

JB/T 6995-2016 was issued by MIIT on 22 October 2016 and has been in force since 1 April 2017.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6995-1993.

2 Scope

This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the uncoilers and coilers of cold rolled strip finishing and processing lines. It sets the terms and definitions, the types and designations, the basic and main equipment parameters, the technical requirements, the inspection rules, the anti-rust coating, and the marking, packing and accompanying technical documents. It is written for the uncoilers and coilers of finishing and processing lines handling cold rolled steel strip from 0.18 mm to 3.0 mm thick and from 450 mm to 1850 mm wide, downstream of tandem or single-stand cold rolling mills and single-stand levellers. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 191, GB 5226.1, GB/T 7932 and JB/T 6996. It supersedes JB/T 6995-1993.
