JB/T 6409-2008 is the English-translated version of 煤气用湿式电除尘器.
JB/T 6409-2008 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard on the application of the wet electrostatic precipitator to coal gas. It sets the product types and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. The precipitators it applies to are those for the fine dust cleaning of converter gas, of blast furnace gas used in gas turbine power generation and of other producer gas; wet electrostatic precipitators in other industries may refer to it. Classified J88 and 13.030.40, it replaces JB/T 6409-1992. Among the standards it quotes are GB 150-1998, GB 3836.1, GB/T 13931-2002, GB 50236 and JB/T 10862-2008.
