JB/T 8536-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 8536-1997.
2 Scope
JB/T 8536-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that carries the technical conditions for the mechanical installation of electrostatic precipitators. It sets out the conditions under which the mechanical installation is performed, the technical requirements for the installation work, and the inspection rules applied to it. What it applies to is the mechanical installation of electrostatic precipitators, while technical renovation and the overhaul of a precipitator may, it states, refer to it as well. GB/T 13931, JB/T 5911, JB/T 6407-2007 and JB/T 7671 are quoted.
