JB/T 6387-2010 is the English-translated version of 轴装式圆弧圆柱蜗杆减速器.
JB/T 6387-2010 is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for shaft-mounted hollow-flank cylindrical worm reducers. For the single-stage reducer it gives the basic parameters, the types and sizes, the technical requirements, lubrication, test methods and inspection rules, covering the SCWU, SCWS, SCWO and SCWF series.
These reducers are set directly on the spindle of the working machine in metallurgical, mining, lifting, construction, transport and chemical equipment. Worm shaft speed stays below 1500 r/min and the working environment runs from -40 °C to +40 °C; below -10 °C the oil must be heated above 0 °C before starting. It replaces JB/T 6387-1992 and carries the classifications J19 and 21.120.99.

1 Foreword
JB/T 6387-2010 was issued by MIIT on 14 May 2010 and has been in force since 1 October 2010.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6387-1992.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for shaft-mounted hollow-flank cylindrical worm reducers. For the single-stage reducer it gives the basic parameters, the types and sizes, the technical requirements, lubrication, test methods and inspection rules, covering the SCWU, SCWS, SCWO and SCWF series.
