JB/T 7337-2010 was issued by MIIT on 11 February 2010 and has been in force since 1 July 2010.

It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 7337-1994.

2 Scope

The recommended machinery industry standard JB/T 7337-2010 deals with shaft-mounted gear reducers. It specifies the type of the reducer, its basic parameters and technical requirements, the test methods and inspection rules, and the provisions for marking, packaging and storage. According to its scope statement the standard applies to involute cylindrical gear reducers whose shafts are arranged in parallel. The Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it, placing it in group J19 of the Chinese classification and at 21.200 in the international one, and it supersedes JB/T 7337-1994.
