JB/T 6211-2013 was issued by Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of the People's Republic of China on 31 December 2013 and has been in force since 1 July 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 6211-1992.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for the switches used with electric blankets and similar appliances. The switches it covers are those fitted to blankets, quilts, clothing and other flexible electric heating appliances of the household and similar kind. They are the switches worked by the hand, the foot or another movement of the body of the user, and they may be mechanical or electronic. It replaces JB/T 6211-1992.
