JB/T 5500-2015 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5500-2004.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for underground load-haul-dump machines. It gives the terms and definitions, the types and basic parameters, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules of the machine, and closes with the provisions on marking, packaging, transport and storage. The machines in its field are the diesel and electric load-haul-dump units worked in metal mines, in non-metal mines and in underground tunnel construction.
