JB/T 5129-2014 was issued by MIIT on 6 May 2014 and has been in force since 1 October 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 5129-2004.
2 Scope
JB/T 5129-2014 is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for non-impact pneumatic screwdrivers, described in its text as the pure torsion type. It gives the types and the basic parameters of the tools and then the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, closing with marking, packaging, transport and storage. Only pure torsion pneumatic screwdrivers fall within its scope.
