JB/T 4208.5-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4208.5-1996.
It is one of 22 parts of the JB/T 4208 series.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery standard dealing with the knock-out bars, the ejector pins counted among the general parts of cold heading dies for fasteners. It lays down their structural types and sizes, the material and hardness, and the marking requirements. The part covers tooling for double-blow solid-die automatic cold headers and for multi-station automatic cold heading machines. It quotes a long run of fastener standards, including GB/T 65, GB/T 67, GB/T 68, GB/T 69, GB/T 70.1, GB/T 818, GB/T 820 and GB/T 5780 through GB/T 5786, together with JB/T 4213.
