JB/T 4209.5-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4209.5-1996.
It is one of 18 parts of the JB/T 4209 series.
2 Scope
JB/T 4209.5-2014 belongs to the Chinese machinery industry series on cold heading dies for hexagon bolts and deals with the dies for standard bars. It gives the structural type and the dimensions of the die, its material and hardness, and the marking rules. The part is intended for tooling on double-blow solid-die automatic cold headers and on multi-station automatic cold heading machines.
