JB/T 4209.4-2014 is the English-translated version of 六角头螺栓冷镦模 第4部分：全螺纹缩径凹模.

JB/T 4209.4-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4209.4-1996.
It is one of 18 parts of the JB/T 4209 series.
2 Scope
The fourth part of JB/T 4209, JB/T 4209.4-2014 is a recommended machinery industry standard for the reducing dies used when cold heading fully threaded hexagon bolts. It describes the structural type and the sizes of the reducing die, the material and hardness it is made to, and how it is marked. It addresses tooling for double-blow solid-die automatic cold headers and for multi-station automatic cold heading machines.
