JB/T 4209.1-2014 was issued by MIIT on 9 July 2014 and has been in force since 1 November 2014.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 4209.1-1996.
It is one of 18 parts of the JB/T 4209 series.
2 Scope
This standard is the Chinese machinery industry standard that covers the punches of cold heading dies for hexagon bolts. It specifies the structural types and dimensions, the material and hardness, and the marking of the first upsetting punch, the finish upsetting punch and the trimming punch. The part is written for double-blow solid-die automatic cold headers and for multi-station machines of the same kind. Its dimensions are keyed to the hexagon bolt standards GB/T 5780, GB/T 5781, GB/T 5782, GB/T 5783, GB/T 5784, GB/T 5785 and GB/T 5786, with JB/T 4213 also quoted. It supersedes JB/T 4209.1-1996, JB/T 4209.2-1996 and JB/T 4209.3-1996.
