This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that states the technical requirements for the manufacture and acceptance of surface grinding machines with a vertical wheel spindle and a reciprocating rectangular table. It applies to general-purpose machines of this type whose table working width lies between 200 mm and 630 mm. The standard is classified J55 in China and 25.080.50 internationally.
