It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3382.2-2000.

2 Scope
The recommended machinery industry standard JB/T 3382.2-2014 sets the technical requirements governing the manufacture and acceptance of surface grinding machines that have a horizontal grinding wheel spindle and a reciprocating rectangular table. It covers general-purpose machines of this kind with a table working width from 125 mm to 800 mm, in the normal, precision and high-precision accuracy grades.
