JB/T 3730-2015 was issued by MIIT on 30 April 2015 and has been in force since 1 October 2015.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3730-1999.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard setting out a test method by which the thermal endurance of flexible composite materials for electrical insulation is evaluated, the material being wrapped into a tube and checked by proof voltage. It describes how that wrapped tube voltage check is run and how its result is used in judging heat resistance. The method is meant for electrical insulating flexible materials of 0.5 mm thickness and below. It quotes GB/T 1408.1-2006, GB/T 11026.1-2003, GB/T 11026.3-2006 and GB/T 11026.4-2012. The document replaces the earlier edition JB/T 3730-1999 and carries the Chinese classification K15.
