2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for variable reluctance stepping motors, and it carries the general technical conditions for that type of motor. It fixes the terms used, the technical requirements, the test methods, the inspection rules and the preparations for delivery. JB/T 10596-2014 applies to reluctance stepping motors, and motors of other special constructions may also refer to it. It replaces the 2006 edition of JB/T 10596.
