JB/T 10208-2012 was issued by MIIT on 24 May 2012 and has been in force since 1 November 2012.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10208-2000.
2 Scope
This standard is a recommended Chinese machinery industry standard that lays down graphical symbols for the operating indications of electro-discharge machines. It provides the various symbols used for such indications, and it applies to electro-discharge machines and to the instruction signs, panels and plates of their attachments. The standard is classified J59 in the Chinese system and 25.080.99 in the international one, and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology issued it. Among the standards it quotes are GB 2893, GB 2894, GB/T 3167-1993, GB/T 4460-1984, GB/T 14896.2-2009, GB/T 16273.1-2008 and GB/T 786.1-2009. It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10208-2000.
