JB/T 12314-2015 is a recommended standard of the Chinese machinery industry that sets the pictorial operating symbols used on the control panels of machine tool electrical equipment and systems. It collects the symbols in common use and assigns them to the operating functions they stand for. Its field of application is the operating instructions given on those control panels; the electrical equipment and systems of other processing equipment connected with machine tool automation may also be designed by reference to it. The Chinese classification is J50 and the international classification 25.040.20. Among the standards it quotes are GB/T 4278.2-2005, JB/T 3240-1999, JB/T 10208-2012, ISO 7000 and IEC 60417-2007.
