JB/T 10179-2016 was issued by MIIT on 15 January 2016 and has been in force since 1 June 2016.
It replaces the earlier edition JB/T 10179-2000.
2 Scope
This standard is the recommended Chinese machinery industry standard for mixed-flow and axial-flow submersible motor-pumps, referred to throughout as electric pumps. It sets out terms and definitions, the types and basic parameters of the pumps, the technical requirements, the test methods and the inspection rules, together with marking, packaging, transport and storage and the requirements for supply as a complete set.
