HG/T 4323-2012 is the Chinese chemical industry standard covering the detection and enumeration of Legionella in circulating cooling water. It lays down the method by which the bacterium is detected and its numbers counted in that water. The method is intended for circulating cooling water, and it can also be used for raw water, domestic water and other industrial waters. It is worked together with GB/T 6682-2008, GB/T 27403 and GB/T 27405. The standard is classified G77 in the Chinese system and under 13.060.70 and 13.060.25 internationally. Issued on 7 November 2012, it has applied since 1 March 2013.
