HG/T 2156-2009 is the English-translated version of 工业循环冷却水中阴离子表面活性剂的测定 亚甲蓝分光光度法.
HG/T 2156-2009 is a recommended Chinese chemical industry standard that describes how anionic surfactants are determined in industrial circulating cooling water by the methylene blue spectrophotometric method. The method applies to contents from 0.05 mg/L to 2.0 mg/L, the surfactants being reported together as methylene blue active substances. It is not used where organic sulfate or sulfonate materials exceed 15 percent, or where cationic materials such as quaternary ammonium compounds exceed 8 percent, of the linear alkylbenzene sulfonate concentration. GB/T 603 and GB/T 6682 are quoted in it, and it is drawn up as non-equivalent to ISO 7875-1-1996. It replaces HG/T 2156-1991. Issued on 4 December 2009, it has applied since 1 June 2010.
