HG/T 4180-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard for the buffing machines used in tyre retreading. It gives the terms and definitions, the models and basic parameters, the requirements, the testing, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, packaging, transport and storage. Its scope is the machines that buff tyres whose nominal rim diameter runs from 15 in to 22.5 in, both the expanding-drum type and the disc type.
