Scope
HG/T 3961-2007 is the English-translated version of 反应蓝M-BRE（C.I.反应蓝221）.
Reactive blue M-BRE, the reactive dye carried in the Colour Index as C.I. Reactive Blue 221, is governed by HG/T 3961-2007, a recommended chemical industry standard. The text fixes the product requirements and sets out sampling, test methods and inspection rules along with marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage, and it is applied to the quality inspection of the dye. Cotton, linen and viscose fibre dyeing and printing are the main uses named for the colorant. GB/T 2374, GB/T 2381, GB/T 2386, GB/T 2387, GB/T 2390 and GB/T 2391 supply the general test methods, while GB/T 3920, GB/T 3921.4, GB/T 8427 and GB/T 8433 cover colour fastness. Issued on 20 July 2007, it has applied since 1 January 2008.
