HG/T 3540-2011 is the English-translated version of 工业循环冷却水中总磷酸盐含量的测定.
HG/T 3540-2011 is the Chinese chemical industry standard that describes how the total phosphate content of industrial circulating cooling water is determined. The method laid down is the phosphomolybdenum blue spectrophotometric method. It applies to total phosphate contents between 0.02 mg/L and 50 mg/L, expressed as PO4 3-, in industrial circulating cooling water. GB/T 603 and GB/T 6682 are quoted. It replaces HG/T 3540-1990, which measured phosphorus in circulating cooling water by the ammonium molybdate spectrophotometric method. The standard is a recommended one, classified G76 in the Chinese scheme and issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology.
