HG/T 3402-2010 is the English-translated version of 直接深红4BR（直接耐酸枣红）.
HG/T 3402-2010 is the recommended chemical industry standard of China for direct dark red 4BR, the dye also called direct acid-fast bordeaux. It sets the requirements for the product together with sampling, the test methods and the inspection rules, and it covers marking, labels, packaging, transport and storage. The standard is meant for the quality control of direct dark red 4BR. It is classified G57 in China and 71.100.01 and 87.060.10 internationally. Its checks follow GB/T 2374-2007, GB/T 2375-2003, GB/T 2381-2006, GB/T 2383, GB/T 2386-2006, GB/T 3920-2008, GB/T 3921-2008, GB/T 3922-1995, GB/T 4841.1-2006, GB/T 5713-1997, GB/T 6152-1997, GB/T 6678-2003, GB/T 8427-2008, GB 19601 and GB 20814. It replaces HG/T 3402-2002. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
