Scope
HG/T 3392-2010 is the English-translated version of 碱性艳橙G（C.I.碱性橙2）.
HG/T 3392-2010 governs basic brilliant orange G, the cationic dye indexed as C.I. Basic Orange 2 and once marketed simply as basic orange. The standard fixes the requirements for the product and describes sampling, the test methods, the inspection rules and the provisions for marking, labelling, packaging, transport and storage, giving a single reference for quality control of the dye. It is a recommended chemical industry standard under Chinese classification G57, with ICS 71.100.01 and 87.060.10. Its test methods follow GB/T 2374, GB/T 2381, GB/T 2399, GB/T 3920, GB/T 3921, GB/T 4841.1, GB/T 6152, GB/T 8427, GB 19601 and GB 20814. It supersedes HG/T 3392-2002. Issued on 22 November 2010, it has applied since 1 March 2011.
