Rubber hoses and hose assemblies for road tankers carrying fuel are the subject of HG/T 3041-2023, a recommended chemical industry standard. It states the requirements for two groups of hose with a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa, used to load and unload liquid hydrocarbon fuels. Both groups are designed for hydrocarbon fuels containing up to 50 percent aromatics by volume and up to 15 percent oxygenates by volume. The service temperature range is -30 °C to +70 °C and the static storage temperature range is -50 °C to +70 °C, with a note that the end user should consult the manufacturer before using a hose below -30 °C. Hoses and assemblies for LPG systems, aviation fuel systems, filling station systems and offshore use are excluded. It supersedes HG/T 3041-2009 and took effect on 1 February 2024.

This standard specifies the requirements for two sets of rubber hoses and hose assemblies with a maximum working pressure of 1.0 MPa for loading and unloading liquid hydrocarbon fuels. Both sets of hoses are designed for use with hydrocarbon fuels containing up to 50% aromatics by volume and up to 15% oxygenates by volume. Note: If the hose is used at temperatures below -30��C, the end user should consult the manufacturer.
